Not the actual swine flu. They are wondering if this is just the tip of the iceberg,and more will come to light later. There have been 104 deaths,and 1,900 bad side affects reported ,to date,FROM THE VACCINE. I think,deaths from the vaccine,in Japan,far outnumber deaths from the flu itself. WHAT DID I SAY !? France is doing the same btw. And in other bullshit,an alleged HIV vaccine is in the works. http://healthcare.change.org Change.org have their hearts in the right place,but they seem to think these agencies do this stuff for altruistic reasons. So ,opposed to forcing us take a vaccine for a health scare,and alleged pandemic, created by manipulating the publics perception ,and using generated mass hysteria ,they can guarantee a safe guard against a death sentence. What a farce it will be. I mean we see the full body bags piled in the Sts here in the USA from this swine flu pandemic that was supposed to kill us all. We definately need to declare it a level 5 health crisis for this...... DUUUUHHHHH ~~~~~ But who won't jump at this ?An alleged safeguard agasint AIDS ? It will be just like gardacil though. It will only protect against certain strains.It will kill dozens in trials,which will be hushed up (just like gardacil) It will barely work as a safeguard,if it will at all,(just like gardacil),and given how fast HIV does mutate,we'll need a new one every year. Its a way to implement nano technology ,maybe kill off a few mopes who want to go back to the days of fucking indescriminently .......and make them BILLIONS. What a joke,on us . Yatsuhashi [03 Jan 2010|01:59am] crystalplumage [ mood | amused ] I'm so jonesing for some yatsuhashi,I went looking for recipes. They are few and far between,but I found a few. I also suspect you have to make it a bunch of times,and tweak it to your own tastes. There are family recipes ,handed down ,and spices change geographic area to geographic area .Some people use totally non traditional fillings ,etc etc. Anyhooooooo,I thought I had gotten all the ingredients,but depending upon the recipe,I'm missing a few key ingredients. I also got ready made Tsubu-An,and have since found a recipe for that,and its relatively simple,so I want to try to make that from scratch too,so I have to get the last few bits before I even attempt it. In other happenings,I watched the Boondock Saints ,and Black Sheep,both,for the first time tonight . Boondock is so off the hook,I couldn't stop cackling. And savage carnivorious sheep,totally amusing . Some parts of the movie were seriously gross though. post comment

Happy New Year [01 Jan 2010|11:36pm] crystalplumage [ mood | content ] Everyone ! I had a very Japanese holiday season ,I must say. Today I saw Taiko Drummers ,dragon dancing and a Japanese Childrens choir. I had good luck mochi soup with my yummy ton-katsu. Handmade Mochi balls of all kinds were dispensed all day. I did my official new years tarot reading,for myself and a few friends. This year looks like its going to be,..different. And ,as a treat,someone bought me Godzilla *and* Lord Ghidorah plushies.Both of which expel their famous roar when squeezed . They're a scream.. I had some wild coconut lemon sake.Very interesting.Its good at room temp. I spent new years eve,with a bunch of nutty people ,at multiple parties,in the bronx. All over the bronx.We were north,south,and inbetween.Lots of sangria ,champagne,and spanish food. Just like the good old ambulance days. S got so drunk,he couldn't stand up.There is some *very* blackmail worthy video footage of all of it. All and all,the best holidays, for me, in years. I miss my mom,but it don't feel deathly sad anymore. Tomorrow I'm supposed to meet up with Bronny for her birthday.Again,Japanese back drop. Hey,I'm not complaining . 3 comments|post comment

Wow [27 Dec 2009|05:50am] crystalplumage [ mood | hopeful ] Apparently,Legendary Films are in talks with Toho to do a Godzilla film. This was originally announced in August,but poo poo-ed as hype. Well Toho confirmed that they're looking into their options . Its also remarked that if it does happen ,it might all be CGI. Not sure if that's good or bad ,but this is the studio that made 300 and The Dark Night . And no one knows if it will be the Tristar script ,rejected in 98,or an entirely new story. But how can people say Godzilla is out dated ? Just look at the success of Cloverfield.What *was* Cloverfield ? Big scary reptilian monster comes out of the harbor,and walks around a big city,destroying half of it,and killing lots of people. Cloverfield *was*...Godzilla,in NYC ,with a hand held camera.Duh. So,I hope so,and that its not a major disappointment,but its not slated for release until July 2012 . post comment
